Not much running this week: a speed/strength session, a 12km steady run and a shorter run. I happily took Thursday, Friday and Saturday off.
I am a bit uptight because the kids were supposed to be with Jon this weekend but somehow they have ended up with me. I am not sure what is happening tomorrow morning. I will be out the door around 6:30am and Jon will pick them up sometime.
I just posted on CoolRunning that I am not sure what my plan for the day is. Do I treat it as an 'event' and just go out and enjoy the run, or do I give it a bash and see what time I end up with. If I die then as least I will know I gave it a go!
We shall see!
The bigger drama is what to wear! I am feeling a bit fat so I am not sure about the crop top tomorrow. I will wait and see how the weather pans out.
I just read through the Elite Runners list for tommorrow. I think Hanny Allston will top the women's race. She looked so strong at Hobart in January.

How did your Melbourne Marathon go? I had an entry in the 10km but couldnt sober up enough in time to participate (damm red wine!!).
