Ok, it is time to really become serious about my training. If I am going to crack 5 hours at Six Foot then then next 10 weeks must be full of hard work.
Yesterday I did 2.5 hours in the Dandenongs with CR Azza. I admit to tiring much sooner than I should have but it was good to get a long hard run done. There were some significant walking sections up the steep hills but I don't feel bad about it at this stage. Next Sunday I will back up with a 3 hour run, then I have the Two Bays Trail the following Sunday.
I must complete my mid-week sessions as scheduled and get on the bike more.
I am not sure if I will run today as the legs are quite tender...perhaps I leave it for an easy short run tomorrow morning.
